Pepper and lemon spice mix

Taste and flavour

Lemon zest has a different flavour to lemon juice. It does not have a sour flavour, but it brings a sunny aroma – let’s call it cheerful. The added pepper additionally reinforces that impression. The effect is warm and fresh at the same time: pepper gives a refined and warm note; lemon zest gives that slightly sour freshness.
A pleasant mix of spicy and fruity flavour that contains pepper, salt, sugar, lemon zest and citric acid.

Advice for use

– Pepper with lemon should be kept in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight, in a sealed container. In this way, it will retain its aroma for up to 6 months.

Did you know

Lemon probably originates from northern India, not from China, as was long believed. Historians still do not agree on the exact origin of this fruit. But one thing is certain: ancient cultures grew lemons abundantly. In the 8th century, the Arabs brought these delicious beautiful yellow fruits to the Mediterranean, from Spain to Sicily and North Africa.
